This year's Fa'l: Allaah Ta'aala knows Best what is Right

A'immat-e-Haqq AS says in this year's Fa'l that, If the year begins on a Monday, its cosmic indicators are the Moon and the Cancer constellation.

It is a water year: It will be cold with strong winds. It features intense heat and intense cold. Winter will be favourable, summer will be extremely hot, and rain will be abundant during its season.

Abundant in fruits and milk: Yields will be plentiful in both the East and the West. Fruits will be numerous, and palm trees will bear well.  Livestock will thrive, cheese, ghee, meat, and fat will be abundant, and mountains will be covered in greenery. However, towards the end of the year, a deadly plague will affect sheep, lambs, and cows. A blight will strike barley, wheat will thrive, and lentils, sesame, buckthorn, leeks, and apples will be hit by disease. Millet will be bypassed by the blight, crops will thrive, and some crops will experience redness and whiteness without causing harm. Honey will be abundant, and prices will rise at the end of the year. Grape yields will decline, while cattle, sheep, and honey will increase.

The plains of the land: The plains will be better than its mountains.  Prices will drop in mountainous regions, and water will be plentiful.  Colds will be widespread in mountainous regions.

An affliction will strike: Back pain will affect people, and runaway slaves will not return. The Hajj pilgrimage will be safe and favourable with added amenities. The mortality rate among women will increase toward the end of the year.  Legs-Hands ailments and conjunctivitis will prevail during that year.

A major war will break out: Dispute among Iraqis is inevitable, and Arabs will move from one land to another. A prominent king will die, and wars and fighting will intensify. A massive plague of locusts will appear. The military will rebel against the Sultan from the Eastern side, and an affliction will strike parts of Persia.

Aqaa Maulaa Saiyedna saheb (TUS) said that,

  • Even with legally earned resources, you must practice restraint by avoiding wastefulness (Israaf), extravagance, or showing off to make others feel inferior.
  • Your Jihaad includes striving through hard work, speech, and wealth to earn a lawful livelihood for your family by fulfilling compulsory religious duties, such as the daily prayers and mandatory fasting.
  • Restrain oneself from Haraam (forbidden) acts. Strictly avoiding actions that violate the Shar'iat and resisting the temptations or whispers of Shaitaan.
  • Extra recommendable deeds of charity and devotion includes giving charity (Sadaqah) to neighbors and those in need, or keeping voluntary fasts during Sha'baan and Asharah Mubaarakah.
  • Maulaana Imaam Husain AS embodied Shukr while in Madinah, and transitioned to profound Sabr when he had to leave it. Despite the betrayal of the people of Kufah, he accepted the trials of Karbalaa. Through his supreme sacrifice, Maulaa Husain perfectly personified both Saabir (the Patient) and Shaakir (the Grateful). You must instill these two timeless traits into your own characters.
  • The powerful rewards of offering 2 rak'at and Du'aa with sincere intent before you travel, whether it is for a general trip, a pilgrimage like Hajj, Umrah, or Karbalaa, Allaah Ta'aala will appoint an angel to accompany the traveller for every single step of his journey. Allaah Ta'aala takes full responsibility for a person's protection as Allaah takes the traveller's life, wealth, and family into His divine custody and protection until he safely returns home.
  • Before anything in the universe was created—long before the existence of the heavens, the earth, heaven or hell—Allaah Ta'aala created the light (Noor) of Muhammad and Ali SA, and their names were inscribed upon the Arsh (Throne). Allaah Ta'aala uttered a single word command (Kun Fa-yakun - "Be, and it is"), through which Noor (divine light) and Rooh (soul) came into existence. From this primordial light, Allaah first created Muhammad and then Ali. The Arsh was created from the Noor of Rasoolullah SA, while the heavens (Aasmaan) were created from the Noor of M. Ali. The sun and the moon were created from the Noor of Imaam Hasan and Imaam Husain.
  • The very origin of Shi'ah is rooted in this pure light, meaning true belief cannot merely be brought in from the outside; it is inherent to their creation. At one point, heavy dark clouds enveloped the heavens, plunging everything into terrifying darkness. The angels cried out to Allaah for help, unable to see ahead or behind. Allaah Ta'aala commanded them to recite the Tasbeeh (glorification) and Taqdees of the names of the Panjatan Paak SA. Doing so brought forth light, dispersing the darkness. This recitation remains the source of salvation and intercession for the angels.
  • Spiritual realities belong to a realm before the creation of time and space (Zamaan and Makaan). Because the human brain is wired to only understand things within the bounds of time and space, it cannot comprehend or prove these spiritual truths through science. These must be accepted purely through the strength of one's Imaan (faith).
  • Allaah Ta'aala will gather all of creation for accountability on "Friday". It holds a highly exalted status for every Mu'min (believer) and sincere worshipper. Highly recommended actions for the Friday (Yaum ul Jomo'ah) are 1. Performing Ghusl (purificatory bath) and cleaning the body. 2. Wearing fine, clean clothes and applying perfume (khushboo). 3. Preparing one's children and honouring one's parents. 4. Showing love and affection toward brothers and sisters.
  • You are urged to make maximum Du'aa (supplication) during prayers. The time between the Asr prayer and sunset is specifically highlighted as a crucial period to engage in Tazarru' (humility and intense devotion) before Allaah for prayers to be accepted. You should raise your hands high toward the sky to beg for Maghferat (forgiveness), Istighfaar and Tawbah (repentance) to wipe away shortfalls and sins. A major focus is placed on praying not just for the Mu'mineen (faithful) but also for the wider Muslimeen (Muslims) who have not yet entered the fold of Imaan or recognized the Wilaayat of Maulaa Ali AS. The goal of these prayers is to bring them from the general boundaries of Islaam into the spiritual sanctuary of true Imaan. This is why the universal prayer encompassing all Mu'mineen, Mu'minaat, Muslimeen and Muslimaat is recited during Faatehah Mubaarakah.
  • Control yourselves in giving hadiyah, tohfah, valuables, gold, jewellery etc during the time of your son/daughter engagement or nikaah. This will get you engaged in unnecessary burden and life-long loans. Make things simple reflecting your nobility and social commitment.
